It has been called "the world's best musicals." The story of the instantaneous but forbidden love between Maria and Tony in Leonard Bernstein's mega-hit West Side Story is portrayed with great seriousness in Göteborg new set. The love between Maria and Tony in West Side Story is hit and limitless.
Both are tired of everyday life, the boredom and the fighting between the rival gangs the Jets and Sharks. Without knowing if there is another they have been waiting for. When their eyes met well, there is no turning back. But cross-border contacts be put to death. Classically trained Sofie Asplund and musical artist Bruno Mitsogiannis - both 26 years old - raises an obvious chemistry life in the blazing love that goes beyond borders and control. Frida Modén Treichl makes the role of Mary's life happy girlfriend Anita. As gang leaders Riff and Bernardo, we see Danny Lekström and Giovanni Bucchieri. The young ensemble is made up of 39 artists.
